All bookings made with Marvels of Africa are subject to these terms.
Welcome to Marvels of Africa. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings you make with us, the use of our services, and your access to our website marvelsofafrica.com. By using our website, making a booking or purchasing any of our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Booking & Confirmation
1.1. All bookings are only confirmed once you receive a Booking Confirmation Voucher from us.
1.2. A minimum deposit of 30% of the total booking cost is required to confirm your reservation.
1.3. The balance payment must be settled by the due date specified in your booking confirmation.
1.4. If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund of the deposit.
2. Payment Methods & Security
2.1. You can pay via:
• Bank Transfer / Wire Transfer
• Online Payment Gateway (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
• Other methods as communicated in booking documents
2.2. All payment details are processed securely. Marvels of Africa does not retain full card details on our systems.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1. If you cancel your safari, cancellation charges are:
• 45% of total cost if canceled 60–45 days before departure
• 60% if canceled 44–30 days before departure
• 100% if canceled within 30 days of departure
3.2. Refunds (if due) will be processed after deduction of cancellation charges and any bank charges.
3.3. Refunds may take 4–6 weeks due to banking procedures.
4. Changes to Bookings
4.1. After confirmation, itinerary changes may be possible subject to availability and applicable fees.
4.2. Normal cancellation charges apply if you postpone or modify your departure date unless otherwise agreed.
5. Travel Documents & Visa Requirements
5.1. You must hold valid passports, visas, permits and any other necessary travel documentation.
5.2. Marvels of Africa is not liable for costs, delays, or denied entry due to incomplete or invalid travel documents.
6. Health & Vaccinations
6.1. It is your responsibility to obtain medical advice and vaccinations relevant to your destination.
6.2. We recommend travel health insurance covering illness, evacuation, and repatriation.
7. Insurance
7.1. Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers and should be purchased at time of booking.
7.2. Insurance should cover cancellation, medical expenses, lost luggage, emergency evacuation, and other unforeseen events.
8. Safari Conditions & Risks
8.1. Safaris include travel to remote and wild environments where risks from wildlife, weather, road conditions, or local conditions exist.
8.2. Marvels of Africa and its partners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from such inherent risks.
9. Pricing & Changes
9.1. Pricing is based on current rates with suppliers, fuel charges, park fees, exchange rates, etc., at time of quoting.
9.2. Prices may change due to external factors, and any increase must be paid by the client before departure.
10. Liability & Limitations
10.1. Marvels of Africa acts as an intermediary or agent for suppliers (hotels, transport, safari vehicles).
10.2. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes outside our control (force majeure, government actions, weather, etc.).
10.3. Liability claims must be made within 30 days after service completion.
11. Complaints & Feedback
11.1. If you have an issue during your safari, notify your guide immediately to seek prompt resolution.
11.2. For unresolved complaints, email us within 30 days at safari@marvelsofafrica.com
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where the safari takes place. Any disputes arising will be resolved in those courts, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Website Use Terms
13.1. Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to comply with all Terms and Policies detailed here.
13.2. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, graphics, images and text are the property of Marvels of Africa. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without written consent.
13.3. User Submissions
You grant Marvels of Africa a non-exclusive license to use any feedback, reviews, photos, or content taken during or related to your safari experiences.
13.4. Link Policy
Third-party links on this website are for convenience. We do not endorse or assume liability for content on external sites.
13.5. Disclaimer
Information on the website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Marvels of Africa is not liable for any errors, omissions, or interruptions.
14. Privacy Policy
Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. Personal data may be shared with service partners (hotels, ground operators, guides) only for operational purposes.
15. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect once published on this website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
