Practical Information

Everything you need to know before your safari adventure

Kenya has two essential entry requirements for most international visitors:

Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA):
All travelers (except East African Community citizens) must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before arrival. This system replaced traditional visas in January 2024. Applications must be submitted online in advance.

Yellow Fever Vaccination:
Kenya does not require a Yellow Fever certificate for travelers arriving directly from Europe, North America, UAE, or other non-endemic countries.
However, if you're arriving from or transiting through a Yellow Fever risk country (including India), proof of vaccination is mandatory. The vaccine must be taken at least 10 days before your travel date.
